Description
This historical plague is located on the grounds of the Manhasset Meeting House for the Society of Friends that was established in 1776 and at its present location in 1812. It is located at the small community of Manhasset on Long Island approximately four miles south of Port Washington. My family originally settled in Port Washington, New York. Some of them are buried in the cemetery on the grounds of the meeting house.
