Description
The light and shadows combined with the rain helps to create a distinctive Chicago "mood" for this photograph. Taken back in the spring of 2015 during a torrential downpour, the sailboats were making their way out towards Lake Michigan. I liked how the Wabash Bridge neatly framed the Wrigley Building drawing the eye into the frame.
All proceeds will be donated to Chicago's Cornerstone Community Outreach in honor of photographer Richard Cleis, 1965-2021.
